Gypsy Rose Blanchard Debuts Her New Pixie Cut After Cutting Off Her Damaged Blonde Hair
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Reveals New Pixie Cut in Makeup-Free Instagram Post
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 34, has embraced a new look, showcasing her pixie cut in a recent Instagram post. The mother of one, who shares daughter Aurora with partner Ken Urker, shared a photo on January 19, where she appeared makeup-free, her short brunette hair styled with bangs swept to one side.
In her post, Blanchard wrote, “No wig today… just me. 🥰,” prompting an outpouring of positive comments from her followers. "I love your hair like this, dare I say iconic??? You look amazing!" one user commented. Others echoed this sentiment, with remarks like, "A hot new bombshell has entered the villa 😍" and "Cute hairstyle."
Blanchard previously revealed in November 2025, through her Instagram Story, that the decision to cut her hair was a necessary one. "This is my natural hair," she stated. "I had to cut it really short because nearly two years of bleaching it completely fried it." She further admitted that she typically relies on high-quality wigs while allowing her hair to grow back healthy, expressing her desire for a "fresh start."
Beyond her hair transformation, Blanchard has made significant changes in her life since her release from prison in December 2023. In May 2024, she shared her experiences following a nose job, stating, "I wish someone had told me how much pain it was." However, she expressed pride in her new appearance, saying, "I love my new nose. It’s subtle. I still look like me. But it’s definitely given me self-confidence."
Reflecting on her previous look, she noted that her blonde hair had boosted her confidence as well, humorously commenting, “Blondes have more fun.”
Blanchard, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for her role in the death of her mother, Dee Dee, has since focused on personal growth and her new family life with Urker. The couple welcomed their daughter, Aurora, in December 2024, marking a new chapter for Blanchard after a troubled past.
