Exclusive: Guillermo del Toro’s Acclaimed Film ‘Frankenstein’ Inspires L.A. Exhibition
The buzz surrounding Guillermo del Toro’s acclaimed film Frankenstein continues to grow as the exhibition “Frankenstein: Crafting a Tale Eternal” makes its way to Los Angeles. Set to run from January 5-11 at NYA Studios West in Hollywood, the exhibition arrives just as Oscar nomination voting approaches.
Del Toro’s Frankenstein has recently been shortlisted in six Oscar craft categories, marking a significant achievement for the Netflix film. It has also garnered 11 nominations at the Critics Choice Awards, including Best Picture and Director, along with five Golden Globe nominations for categories such as Motion Picture – Drama and Director.
On the opening night of the L.A. exhibit, acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, along with George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, will host and moderate a screening featuring the film’s production team. Additional programming is expected throughout the run.
The immersive exhibition aims to spotlight del Toro’s innovative storytelling and the artistic contributions of the Frankenstein team. Visitors can expect to see an array of props, artwork, and costumes from the film, as well as Tiffany & Co. jewelry and rare books curated by Peter Harrington, celebrating the legacy of author Mary Shelley.

In addition, free tickets for select dates will be available for attendees interested in touring the exhibit.
