Gracie Abrams’ Upcoming Album ‘Daughter From Hell’: What to Expect and Her Excitement to Share It with You
Gracie Abrams Announces New Album
Gracie Abrams has officially returned to the music scene, unveiling details of her upcoming third studio album, titled Daughter From Hell. The announcement came on May 11, when she shared the album cover and release date through her Instagram account.
Abrams expressed her excitement in the post, writing, “My third album is out July 17. Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out.”
The cover art features a close-up of Abrams in a crouched position, gazing into the distance. She added, “I am so ready for it to be yours,” expressing her eagerness for fans to hear the new work.
According to the Daughter From Hell countdown page on Spotify, the album will include 16 tracks, featuring the lead single “Hit the Wall,” scheduled for release on May 14. The album is produced by Aaron Dessner, a longtime collaborator who has previously worked with Abrams on her debut LP, Good Riddance, and her second album, The Secret of Us. Notably, Abrams’ first album peaked at No. 52 on the Billboard 200, while her second climbed to No. 2, marking a significant rise with hits like “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”
Over the past year, Abrams hinted at new music. In a Billboard cover story published earlier in 2025, she mentioned collaborating with Dessner during brief moments of downtime between busy schedules.
She reflected at the time, “Every day that I live with the music, things start to become a little clearer. There’s something we’re starting to crack that is making both of us feel energized.”
In April, she piqued fans’ interest further by posting photos of her journal adorned with “DFH” stickers, signaling more details to come.
