Grace Van Patten and Jackson White Shine at ‘Tell Me Lies’ Season 3 Premiere
Grace Van Patten and Jackson White showcased their fashion-forward chemistry at the New York City screening of Tell Me Lies Season 3 on January 12. The couple, both 29, impressed attendees with their coordinated dark attire, marking a stylish evening for the series’ latest chapter.
Van Patten, who stars as Lucy Albright, wore a striking outfit that featured a flowy black blouse with pleated sleeves and a mock neck, elegantly tucked into a high-waisted patent leather skirt adorned with a thigh-high slit. The ensemble was complemented with sheer black tights and pointed-toe patent leather heels. Her makeup featured a soft glam look, highlighting her dewy skin, warm eyeshadow, and pink, lined lips, while her honey blonde hair flowed in beachy waves.
White embraced a more classic look, donning a gray blazer—partially unbuttoned—paired with a white dress shirt and a patterned black tie. He rounded out his ensemble with black pants and polished dress shoes, giving a polished nod to the evening’s festive atmosphere as he wrapped his arm around Van Patten.
The intricate narrative of Tell Me Lies centers on Lucy, her college friend group, and her tumultuous relationship with Stephen DeMarco, portrayed by White. The series has ignited conversations around the complexity of their toxic bond and its impact on their circle.
Reflecting on their off-screen bond, Van Patten recently shared insights from a Call Her Daddy episode about her initial impressions of White during auditions. “I didn’t like Jackson [at first],” she admitted, recounting her surprise at his acting prowess. “He was so good.”
Their dynamic shifted dramatically during a subsequent round of auditions. Van Patten recalled, “It was a completely different energy,” noting that from their first dinner together, the attraction was undeniable.
As the night came to a close, they spent hours discussing the potential complications of their budding relationship. “We talked about every reason we should not act on this,” she laughed, adding that the mutual crush was overwhelming.
The actress expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside White, calling it the “best part” of portraying Lucy. Their connection continues to draw attention as Tell Me Lies progresses.
