Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios Returns for Season 2 on Tubi
Nick Kyrgios’ Podcast "Good Trouble" Returns for Season Two on Tubi
Nick Kyrgios, known in the tennis world for his outspoken demeanor, is set to return with his video podcast series, Good Trouble. The show, which originally debuted last year, has featured high-profile guests like Gordon Ramsay and Mike Tyson.
Produced by Naomi Osaka’s company, Hana Kuma, Good Trouble will now have a new platform, premiering Season Two on Tubi on December 22. The series will be accessible to viewers in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia, with the first season also available for streaming.
This renewal is part of a distribution agreement between Tubi and Uninterrupted, the media company co-founded by LeBron James, now under Fulwell Entertainment. The initial project within this collaboration was the documentary Naomi Osaka: The Second Set, with the deal orchestrated by Hana Kuma’s Matt DeMartis and Tubi’s Ian Nelson.
Season Two will be produced by both Hana Kuma and Sony’s Embassy Row, featuring a lineup that includes Aryna Sabalenka, Blake Griffin, Hasan Minhaj, Bear Grylls, Jason Derulo, and Bill Ackman.
“I’ve had the opportunity to sit down with some of the most interesting people in the world,” Kyrgios commented. “I learn something new after interviewing each one of them.”
Tubi’s Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Acquisitions, Sam Harowitz, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration, noting, “Nick’s ability to connect, challenge norms, and engage across generations makes Good Trouble a perfect fit for our audience as we continue to build a programming slate at Tubi that lives at the intersection of sports and culture.”
Elyse Kellogg, Vice President at Uninterrupted, emphasized the show’s alignment with their mission, stating, "Good Trouble reflects Uninterrupted’s commitment to athlete-driven storytelling." She highlighted the value of their partnership with Hana Kuma and the significance of Kyrgios in fostering meaningful conversations within tennis culture.
