Getting to Know Nicole Curtis’ Sons, Ethan and Harper

Nicole Curtis, star of Rehab Addict, has a unique perspective on motherhood, shaped by her experiences raising her two sons, Ethan and Harper, amidst her home renovation career.
Ethan, born on December 24, 1997, with Curtis’s ex-partner Steven Cimini, spent much of his formative years in a construction environment. Curtis frequently featured him in episodes of her home renovation shows, intertwining her parenting with her professional life.
In contrast, Harper, born on May 29, 2015, from her relationship with Shane Maguire, arrived later in Curtis’s career. Describing motherhood as a fluid journey that parallels the challenges of home renovations, Curtis emphasizes adaptability.
"I’m always open to being a better parent," she stated in a 2017 interview. "There is no ‘I’m the best parent,’… you have to be open to change."
Ultimately, Curtis aims to cultivate a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for her children. In 2018, she expressed, "We’re doing the best we can, and the memories are so fun… when my kids think about their life, I want them to remember we had fun."
Ethan, 28

Ethan became a prominent figure on job sites early on. "When he was little, I had to work 24-7. He had to be on a job site morning, noon, and night," Curtis recalled in 2021. "Since the beginning, he was always by my side on every house build."
Curtis later promised him that he would no longer have to "live in drywall dust."
Their close bond continued into Ethan’s teenage years. Curtis shared on Instagram in 2022, "We were together 24/7 back then. Every step, this brilliant boy of mine was with me… No greater moments for me than watching them together."
In a 2022 episode of Rehab Addict Rescue, Ethan praised his mother’s work ethic, stating, "She’s worked to the bone to get what she has."
Curtis noted that his extensive experience, from "the womb to now," makes Ethan well-versed in the realm of home renovations, even calling him the "opposite" of herself.

Harper’s arrival has brought new shared experiences for the family. Recently, Curtis and her youngest son have enjoyed skiing and snowboarding together.
In August 2023, during her 47th birthday celebration, Curtis shared joyful moments with Harper, stating, "We flew in a helicopter, I hung with my boys, I ate cake for breakfast."
Reflecting on their family journey, she remarked on social media that it has not been an easy path. "There was years of sacrifice," she noted, "but I do believe 2023 was our best year yet."
