Fremantle Postpones Series Mania Keynote Event
Fremantle Executives Withdraw from Series Mania Appearance
Fremantle executives will not be participating in the upcoming Series Mania conference, a significant industry event taking place in Lille, France.
CEO Jennifer Mullin and Europe head Andrea Scrosati were scheduled to speak tomorrow but have canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. A representative for Fremantle confirmed that Mullin will remain in the United States to attend to a personal matter and noted that Scrosati would not appear solo at the event.
Mullin and Scrosati were among the most notable figures set to address the Forum portion of Series Mania, which officially kicks off today. Their planned discussion was focused on “strategic objectives shaping the future of storytelling” and included insights into how Fremantle is redefining the creation, distribution, and monetization of premium multi-genre intellectual property.
The executives’ absence comes as Fremantle celebrates its 25th anniversary. The company is known for an extensive portfolio that includes collaborations with high-profile talents such as Angelina Jolie and Edward Berger. However, Fremantle has recently acknowledged challenges in its talent deal strategy, as reported in its latest annual results, which indicated a 10% revenue decline.
Series Mania 2026 features keynotes from industry leaders including Russell T. Davies, Disney Europe’s Angela Jain, and HBO’s Sarah Aubrey. The forum runs from today through Thursday, following a weekend premiere of Hulu’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments.
