Firefighters Contain Blaze in Hollywood Hills
Firefighters responded to a house fire in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday, battling the flames amid gusty winds sweeping through the area.
The incident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Oak Street and Kirkwood Drive, where flames and dark smoke emerged from the property, igniting nearby vegetation.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, crews successfully extinguished the blaze in just over an hour. While flames spread to a neighboring structure and surrounding foliage, firefighters efficiently contained the fire.
Fire department officials indicated that teams would remain on-site to monitor for potential hotspots.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and no injuries have been reported.
