Firefighters Help Driver When Beam Collapses on Car in Ontario

A man was rescued early Thursday morning after a beam fell onto his car on the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. when a semi-truck collided with a bridge undergoing construction.

Firefighters were called to the scene, where they utilized heavy equipment to extricate the driver. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, reportedly alert and conscious.

In response to the incident, a Sigalert was issued, resulting in the closure of several freeway lanes for cleanup and investigation. Further details about the event have not yet been disclosed.
