FilmRise Acquires Global Rights to ‘The Infographics Show’, A Digital Franchise That Simplifies Complex Ideas
EXCLUSIVE: Radial Entertainment’s FilmRise has secured worldwide rights to the popular YouTube franchise The Infographics Show.
The multi-year agreement with The Infographics Show producer Dark Matter Design was finalized recently, although financial details of the deal remain undisclosed. The agreement encompasses all digital media rights, including FAST and broadcast, as well as rights related to airlines and ancillary uses.
Since its launch in 2011 by Andrej Preston, The Infographics Show has garnered a dedicated following, boasting approximately 15.3 million YouTube subscribers and an impressive 6.6 billion views. The franchise specializes in transforming complex topics into engaging, easily digestible stories, employing fast-paced animations and character-driven narratives. Its content spans a wide array of subjects, including groundbreaking science, survival scenarios, military strategy, world history, and true crime.
In the wake of this agreement, Radial and FilmRise plan to repurpose and curate the show’s extensive library into several seasons across seven series. The titles will include The Infographics Show: True Crime, The Infographics Show: Mind & Body, The Infographics Show: Science & Nature, The Infographics Show: Military & Government, The Infographics Show: War & History, The Infographics Show: Prison & Punishment, and The Infographics Show: Society & Culture.
Jonitha Keymoore, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Radial, praised the impact of Preston and Dark Matter Design, stating, “The Infographics Show is a phenomenon, and FilmRise has been at the forefront of bringing creator-driven content to streaming platforms over the past four years. We’re excited to expand the show’s global reach.”
Keymoore emphasized the importance of scaling creator-driven content, noting that this deal underscores Radial’s commitment to supporting innovative creators while delivering captivating content to audiences worldwide.
Recent developments indicate continued growth for Radial, which was formed following Oaktree Capital Management’s acquisition of FilmRise and its subsequent merger with Shout! Studios in July 2025. Radial now boasts a library exceeding 70,000 films and television episodes, distributing content across various channels—including FAST, ad-funded streaming, subscription platforms, physical products, and theatrical releases.
This announcement coincides with Radial’s recent hiring of former Fremantle executive James Meyer as Senior Vice President, International Sales and Distribution. Carolyn Marcus, Director of Creator Partnerships at Radial, negotiated the The Infographics Show deal alongside Alan Kronik of ThoughtLeaders, representing Dark Matter Design.
