Felicity Huffman Signs with Gersh for Representation
Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Felicity Huffman has signed with Gersh for representation across all areas of her career.
Huffman is currently completing her role as Dr. Joan Ridley on Fox’s successful medical drama Doc, following a year-long series regular contract for its second season. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Lynette Scavo on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, a role that earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, along with three Screen Actors Guild Awards and three Golden Globe nominations. Additionally, she received a Golden Globe award as well as nominations for an Oscar, SAG Award, and Critics Choice Award for her leading performance in Duncan Tucker’s Transamerica. Huffman has continued to demonstrate her acting prowess with three more Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations for her work in ABC’s American Crime.
In her recent projects, Huffman starred in Lifetime’s two-part film The Thirteenth Wife: Escaping Polygamy, which depicts the true story of Rena Chynoweth’s escape from a polygamous cult. Her additional recent roles include a guest appearance on Criminal Minds: Evolution and a debut on the UK stage in the 2024 production of Hir at the Park Theatre. Her film credits include notable works such as Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia, Phoebe in Wonderland, and Tammy’s Always Dying.
