FBI Boosts Reward and Shares New Insights in Nancy Guthrie Abduction Case
Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, remains unaccounted for, prompting the FBI to increase the reward for information regarding her whereabouts to $100,000.
As the investigation progresses, the FBI has released new details about a male suspect captured on Nancy Guthrie’s security camera the night she disappeared.
“The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9” to 5’10” tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack,” the FBI stated on Thursday.
Previously, the FBI had offered a $50,000 reward for information related to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The amount has now doubled to $100,000, aimed at gathering information leading to her location or the arrest and conviction of those involved in the case.

Earlier this week, a person was detained for questioning but has since been released. Carlos Palazuelos, a delivery driver who was stopped near his home south of Tucson, stated, “I hope they get the suspect because I am not it.” He mentioned being questioned about his whereabouts and the possibility of having delivered a package to Guthrie’s residence.
On the same day, the FBI released images of a masked individual observed at Guthrie’s front door on the night she vanished. Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the evening of January 31, after being dropped off at her home, and was reported missing around noon the following day.
Savannah Guthrie shared a heartfelt message on Instagram featuring a video with her mother, stating, “our lovely mom. we will never give up on her. thank you for your prayers and hope.”
