Fashion Influencer Shares Heartfelt Update on Her Husband’s Cancer Journey and Hopes for Healing

Influencer Lorna Luxe recently opened up about her husband’s cancer diagnosis in a heartfelt message on Instagram.

The 43-year-old, whose real name is Lorna Andrews, reported in a video posted on January 12 that her husband, John Andrews, has seen his cancer “progress to his other organs.” John, 64, had been diagnosed with stage three cancer in 2023.

“We’ve had some pretty devastating news,” Luxe said while sharing a romantic video of the couple from a trip to Venice.

“When I was trying to find a way to explain what feels like a pretty bleak situation, I started going through my camera roll and found this unposted video of us taken in Venice last November. I am so grateful we booked that trip,” she added.

She explained that John’s condition has worsened, stating he developed sepsis over Christmas. “He’s back home with me now, but we’ve been told his cancer has progressed to other organs, so treatments are no longer an option,” Luxe noted.

Despite the grim update, Luxe expressed her hope, highlighting her husband’s resilient mindset. “I think he’s possibly the bravest person. At this point, we’re looking for a bit of a miracle, and we’re going to take each day as it comes,” she said. “We can’t lose hope … we haven’t come this far just to come this far.”

Luxe and John, a former banker, have been married for 16 years. John initially disclosed his cancer diagnosis and upcoming chemotherapy treatment in a March 2023 Instagram video shared on Luxe’s account.

In a poignant post shared on November 16, 2024, Luxe revealed that John’s cancer had spread to his brain. “After John’s recent scan, we learned that in addition to the cancer on his adrenal gland, he also has a new cancer on the brain,” she wrote. “We’ve had a good cry. The good news is we have a plan to attack it … I’m devastated … but we’re a team and we’ll get through this.”

In October 2025, Luxe provided another update on Instagram, sharing that John’s adrenal cancer had “spread to [his] lymph nodes,” and that doctors had discovered “a new mass on the brain.”
