Victoria Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead on January 1 at the age of 34. The family released a statement on January 2 expressing gratitude for the support they have received.

Audio dispatch records indicate that the incident was categorized as a "code 3 for the overdose, color change," with "color change" referring to cyanosis, a condition marked by low oxygen levels in the blood, often indicative of serious medical issues.
Victoria Jones, who appeared alongside her father in the 2002 film Men in Black II, as well as in The Three Burials of Meliquiades Estrada (2005) and a One Tree Hill episode in 2003, struggled with legal issues, having been arrested at least twice in the past year, including for drug possession.
Authorities from NBC Bay Area reported that police do not suspect foul play in Victoria’s death, though the official cause remains undetermined.
In a statement, Fairmont San Francisco’s press director Michelle Heston expressed condolences for the tragic event, saying, "We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026. Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation."
