Exciting Updates: John Stamos, Dale Dickey, and Cam Gigandet Join the Cast of Netflix’s ‘The Hunting Wives’ Season 2
The second season of The Hunting Wives is expanding its cast with the addition of John Stamos, Dale Dickey, and Cam Gigandet in recurring roles. Stamos, known for his work in Palm Royale, will portray Chase Brylan, Dickey from Fallout will take on the role of Zelda Moffitt, and Gigandet, recognized for his performance in Burlesque, will play Gentle John Moffitt.
Production for the new season is currently underway in the United States. They join a returning cast that includes Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box.
New cast members for Season 2 also feature Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan, with additional announcements expected soon.
The Hunting Wives was created by Rebecca Cutter, drawing from the novel of the same name by May Cobb. Produced by Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment, the series follows Sophie, played by Snow, who relocates from Boston to Texas, where she becomes embroiled in themes of obsession, seduction, and murder.
The logline for Season 2 indicates heightened tension: “Sophie and Margo (Akerman) are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
The first season of The Hunting Wives premiered on Netflix in the U.S. on July 21, earning a place in the global English Top 10 TV list for five weeks and gathering over 20 million views during that time, despite its limited availability.
