Exciting Cast Announced for the Period Thriller ‘New England Toys’
Blaise Beyhan Assembles Star-Studded Cast for New Feature Film
Writer and director Blaise Beyhan has gathered an impressive ensemble cast for his upcoming film, New England Toys. Leading roles will be filled by Willa Fitzgerald, known for her performance in Strange Darling, and Ruby Cruz, recognized for her work in The Threesome.
Joining them are notable actors Paul Sparks (The Lowdown), Jason Schwartzman (Mountainhead), Jim Gaffigan (Linoleum), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Hateful Eight), Paul Fitzgerald (The Residence), Asa Germann (Scream 7), William Sadler (Our Cartoon President), Dylan Baker (Happiness), and Becky Ann Baker (Ted Lasso).
While specific plot details remain undisclosed, sources indicate that New England Toys will be a period thriller. Production has commenced in Buffalo, New York, with Beyhan collaborating with Robby Gutmann as the producer and Fitzgerald as the executive producer.
This film marks Beyhan’s second directorial effort, following the highly anticipated Callback, an adaptation of his earlier short film of the same name, which also stars Fitzgerald and Germann.
Willa Fitzgerald has recently gained recognition for her standout performance alongside Kyle Gallner in the psychological thriller Strange Darling. She has furthered her career with roles in the Netflix medical series Pulse, Kathryn Bigelow’s House of Dynamite, and the upcoming adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You. Fitzgerald’s future projects include the thriller The Billion Dollar Spy, co-starring Russell Crowe.
Ruby Cruz has made appearances in popular shows such as Mare of Easttown, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Willow. She is set to feature in the fifth season of Apple TV’s For All Mankind and the indie comedy Souvenir.
