Following her understated announcement, Page Six confirmed the news, leading Blue Nile’s VP of Merchandising, Daniela Tarantino, to comment on the ring’s modern design. “This engagement ring is a chunky gold east-west bezel set ring,” she said, highlighting a trend in bridal jewelry.

Tarantino estimated the ring’s value to be between $300,000 and $450,000, noting it is likely a 4 to 5-carat modified cushion cut. Diamond jewelry expert and co-founder of Plum Diamonds, Kristy Cullinane, concurred with this estimation, stating, “The estimated value of the ring would be $200,000+ for a mined diamond or $15,000 for a lab-grown diamond.”

While revealing her engagement ring, Cyrus also wore a diamond piece by Messika, featuring a pear-shaped stone and a rectangular diamond on an embellished band, complemented by a diamond necklace and double ring on her right hand. Cyrus, who has been in a relationship with Morando since December 2021, wore a black sequin gown by Gucci that featured a strapless sweetheart neckline and dramatic pleated mermaid skirt.
