Erin Foster Joins S3 Cast of ‘Nobody Wants This’ with Sarah Silverman and Andrew Rannells
Erin Foster, known for creating Nobody Wants This, is making her acting debut in Season 3 of the Netflix rom-com series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
In this upcoming season, Foster will portray Nicole, a perpetually single woman characterized by her chaotic lifestyle—essentially what Bell’s character Joanne might have become if her life had taken a different path.
Foster’s career began in front of the camera with notable roles in Gilmore Girls, Castle, The O.C., and Roswell, before she shifted focus to writing and producing, including her work on the reality show mockumentary Barely Famous.
She will be joined by new recurring cast members Sarah Silverman and Andrew Rannells. Rannells, known for his role in Girls, will take on the character Sebastien, Joanne’s adversary in a conversion class. Silverman will appear as Rabbi Eden, a quirky and supportive instructor for an Intro to Judaism course, who serves as a mentor to both Joanne and Noah. Keyla Monterroso Mejia, recognized for her role in The Studio, will also join the cast as Amber, a single woman eager to find a Jewish husband through Joanne’s class.

Additional guest stars include Avan Jogia from 56 Days, playing Travis, a cocky character who enjoys teasing Joanne; Poorna Jagannathan as Eleanor, Sebastien’s outspoken aunt; and Sadie Sandler portraying Denise, a young psychic who offers a reading to Morgan. Also featured are Stephanie Koenig as Poppy, a sarcastic dating app user, and Steven Weber as Julian, a laid-back divorced dad.
Returning cast members for Season 3 include Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. This season will prominently feature themes surrounding the conversion of Bell’s agnostic podcast host character.
Produced by 20th Television, the series sees Foster and Bell as executive producers alongside Sara Foster, Nora Silver, Steven Levitan, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Oly Obst. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan also serve as showrunners.
