Emperor Shares Exciting Plans for Spring 2026 North American Tour with Blood Incantation
The Norwegian black metal band Emperor has announced a North American tour for Spring 2026, featuring support from Blood Incantation. The tour is set to kick off on March 27 in Toronto and will conclude on April 12 in Los Angeles, covering a total of twelve cities.
The tour will include stops in Montreal, Worcester, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, Nashville, and Austin. Notably, pre-sale tickets for Live Nation All Access members will become available on Thursday at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales starting Friday at the same time.
In a statement, the band expressed enthusiasm for their return, saying, “Emperor hordes of North America! We are excited to return to Canada and the U.S. in March/April 2026 with very special guests Blood Incantation.”
Despite not releasing new music since 2001, Emperor continues to tour actively. Band leader Ihsahn has consistently dismissed speculation about new material while focusing on his solo work, which has included several albums over the past two decades. Blood Incantation, known for their innovative contributions to the U.S. metal underground, will join them on this tour following the successful launch of their 2024 album, Absolute Elsewhere.
