Ella Langley surprised fans during her debut at the Stagecoach festival.
Although many anticipated a guest appearance by Morgan Wallen, the 26-year-old country artist instead welcomed comedian and podcaster Theo Von during her performance on Friday, April 24, in Indio, California.
Following her songs “Bottom of Your Boots” and “Broken” from her newly released album Dandelion, as well as “20-20” from the deluxe edition Still Hungover, Langley invited Von on stage for a rendition of “You Look Like You Love Me,” a collaboration with Riley Green.
After progressing through the second verse, typically sung by Green, Langley called Von to join her. Clad in a denim shirt, blue jeans, and a cowboy hat, he seamlessly jumped into the performance.
“And that’s when I realized that she was every cowboy’s dream come true,” Von exclaimed, pointing to Langley.
The duo transitioned into the chorus, with festivalgoers joining in, singing, “You look like you love me/ You look like you want me to want you to come on home.”
Langley, who recently appeared on Von’s podcast This Past Weekend, humorously remarked as he exited the stage, “Bet you didn’t expect that… keep ’em guessin’!”
“You Look Like You Love Me” achieved the top spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in December 2024.
Langley concluded her Stagecoach set with “Choosin’ Texas,” which recently celebrated a seventh nonconsecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100, as well as “Weren’t for the Wind.”
The singer-songwriter is experiencing remarkable success, currently leading both the Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts, with Dandelion having debuted at No. 1. Langley also introduced her new duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” with Wallen during his show in Alabama on April 18.
