Eli Brown, Odeya Rush, and Luke Eisner Join Cast of ‘Goodbye Girl’
Eli Brown, known for A Complete Unknown, Odeya Rush from Memory of a Killer, and Luke Eisner, famous for his role in Tall Girl, are set to appear in the upcoming romantic comedy Goodbye Girl, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Gulfstream Pictures.
Character specifics for the trio remain undisclosed. Leading the cast are Kiernan Shipka and Cole Sprouse, accompanied by notable names such as Natalia Dyer, David Iacono, Megan Mullally, Alan Ruck, Zosia Mamet, Catherine Cohen, Andrew Bachelor, Anthony Keyvan, and Adam Rose.
Filming is currently taking place in New Orleans. The plot centers on Jess (played by Shipka), a professional heartbreaker. Hired by a timid bride to end her engagement to a groom (Sprouse) just days before their wedding, Jess unexpectedly finds herself falling in love.
Oran Zegman, known for Honor Society, is directing, with the screenplay penned by Danielle Hoover and David Monahan. The story is a collaborative effort with Jessica Elbaum. Producers Mike Karz and William Bindley, along with Dawn Bierschwal, Ryan Lewis from The RAD Lab, and Daniel Wagner, are involved in the financing and production.
Eli Brown recently starred alongside Timothée Chalamet, Monica Barbaro, and Elle Fanning in A Complete Unknown. His credits also include HBO Max’s Gossip Girl, Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man, Run Hide Fight, and the Pretty Little Liars spin-off, The Perfectionists. He is represented by Gersh and Anonymous Content.
Odeya Rush currently features with Patrick Dempsey in the Fox drama series Memory of a Killer, which debuted in January. Upcoming projects include the indie horror-thriller Corporate Retreat with Simona Tabasco and Alan Ruck, and the Western The Isolate Thief, alongside Sean Bean and Mackenzie Foy.
