More Rain Expected as Search Continues for Driver Swept Away by Floodwaters in Southern California
Search teams are actively looking for a driver who was swept away after their car became stuck in floodwaters in Devore on Wednesday. The incident occurred when the driver attempted to cross a flooded road near Cajon Boulevard and Keenbrook Road in the Cajon Pass, firefighters reported. After the vehicle became trapped, the driver climbed onto the roof but subsequently disappeared in the rushing water.
The search operations were halted due to hazardous conditions but are anticipated to resume later on Wednesday.
