Deep Purple and Kansas Set to Hit the Road for a Summer 2026 North American Tour

Legendary rock band Deep Purple has announced a North American tour set for the summer of 2026. The tour will feature the progressive-rock group Kansas on all dates, with select performances alongside Jefferson Starship.

The tour kicks off in Raleigh, North Carolina, on August 4 and includes stops in major cities such as Toronto, Detroit, and Las Vegas, concluding on September 12 in Sparks, Nevada.

A Citi pre-sale is currently underway, while an artist pre-sale is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 31st, at 10 a.m. local time using the code DPBAND. General ticket sales will start on April 2nd at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

Recently, frontman Ian Gillan shared insights about an upcoming studio album during an interview with Songwriting for Songwriters. Of the new material, Gillan remarked, “Let’s say there’s a general theme. It’s a fairly loose conceptual idea of the end of humanity, but not as grim as it sounds. In fact, it’s very optimistic. It’s about the metamorphosis of humanity into a metaphysical state, our next incarnation.”
