Davide De Pierro Joins Forces with AHA Studios and Ted Gold Productions for Exciting New Comedy Series
EXCLUSIVE: Davide De Pierro, a rising star in the entertainment industry, is partnering with Susan Rovner’s AHA Studios and Ted Gold Productions to develop a new comedy series.
De Pierro has secured a development deal for an untitled comedy centered around his “funny and relatable observations about life and love,” in which he will also star and co-write.
Joining him in writing the series are Andy Gordon, known for his work on The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family, and Maria Ferrari, also from The Big Bang Theory, as well as United States of Al and Young Sheldon. Rovner and Gold will serve as executive producers.
Known colloquially as Davi, De Pierro delves into the intricate themes of relationships, mental health, and personal development. With roots in both Italian and Jersey cultures, he offers insights through engaging content and a live touring show that addresses topics such as dating, family dynamics, financial freedom, and navigating manhood in today’s world.
Since 2025, he has garnered 6 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, generating between 60 to 90 million views each week. His debut live show, which featured readings from The Letters I Never Sent along with audience Q&A, sold out in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston. Recently, over 40 additional shows have been scheduled in the U.S., Canada, and Europe for 2026. The tour has received acclaim for its candid exploration of relationships and everyday life, delivered with Davi’s distinctive humor. The Letters I Never Sent, his debut audiobook, is currently available.
Susan Rovner is a prominent figure in the industry, having previously served as chairman of NBCUniversal and president of Warner Bros. TV. She established AHA Studios, which focuses on creating both scripted and unscripted content, as well as documentaries. Rovner is also the founder and chief creative officer of the microseries studio and platform aTwist, in collaboration with Jana Winograde and Lloyd Braun. Current projects from AHA Studios include CBS’s cooking competition series America’s Culinary Cup, as well as an upcoming drama set in Barneys New York for Amazon and The Lying Game, also in partnership with Ted Gold.
Ted Gold, CEO of Ted Gold Productions, has extensive experience in scripted television and film. His production company is associated with numerous projects at major studios including Amazon, MGM, Sony, CBS, DiNovi Pictures, and Prologue Entertainment. Prior to his current role, Gold led the Scripted Television division for Fox Entertainment Studios and held the position of Senior Vice President of Programming at Fox Broadcasting Company and the Paramount Channel.
