Dakota Johnson and Role Model Spotted Together
On Thursday, January 23, Dakota Johnson and singer/songwriter Role Model were seen holding hands after leaving a dinner in Los Angeles. The pair, who first attracted attention together in December, enjoyed a cozy meal at Saffy’s, a Middle-Eastern restaurant located in East Hollywood.
The actress, 36, known for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey, was dressed in a black lace tank top and pants, while Role Model, 28, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, opted for a patterned grey and black sweater paired with grey trousers. After their meal, both wrapped up in trench coats as they walked hand-in-hand, accompanied by a friend.
Though neither Johnson nor Role Model has officially commented on their relationship status, their frequent outings since December have sparked speculation about their romance.
Johnson recently ended her eight-year relationship with Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, in June 2022. Sources described their relationship as “hot and cold,” indicating Johnson feels more at peace now post-breakup. “While she always hoped they’d work out, she seems lighter and more at peace now that it’s final," a source revealed.
Meanwhile, Role Model’s most recent public relationship was with social media personality Emma Chamberlain, which ended in October 2023. The couple had made headlines earlier that year when they publicly acknowledged their relationship.
As for upcoming projects, Johnson is set to star in Verity, adapted from Colleen Hoover’s bestseller, due for release in late 2026. Role Model will also hit the road for a tour beginning February 5 in New Zealand, with additional shows planned throughout the summer in Europe.
