Cruz Beckham Clarifies Why David and Victoria Didn’t Unfollow Brooklyn on Instagram

Cruz Beckham has refuted claims suggesting that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, have unfollowed his brother, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, on Instagram. On December 21, Cruz shared a screenshot on his Instagram Stories of an article from the *Daily Mail* that alleged his parents no longer follow Brooklyn amid rumors of family discord.
In his post, Cruz clarified that it is not true that his parents unfollowed Brooklyn, stating, “They woke up blocked … as did I.” He expressed his surprise at the development.

In his emphatic denial, Cruz wrote, “NOT TRUE,” and added, “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right.”
Instagram users do not receive notifications when they are blocked. They can still see likes and comments on posts made by the person who blocked them, according to the platform’s guidelines. Blocking someone removes both users from each other’s following and followers lists.

David, 50, and Victoria, 51, are currently no longer following Brooklyn, who likewise does not follow them. They continue to follow their other two sons, Cruz and Romeo, 23. Their youngest child, daughter Harper, 14, maintains a private Instagram account.
Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, also does not follow David and Victoria on Instagram, nor do they follow her.
Amid speculations, David and Victoria have yet to address why Brooklyn is not on their following list.
Representatives for both David and Brooklyn have not responded to requests for comment. However, a spokesperson for Victoria confirmed that Cruz was reacting to the erroneous stories regarding the unfollowing.
Brooklyn was notably absent from family gatherings this year, including David’s 50th birthday celebration in London, where Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper were present.
