Country Ever After star Criscilla Anderson has died at the age of 45. Her passing was confirmed through a heartfelt Instagram post shared by her friend and photographer Lindsey on December 2. Anderson succumbed to colon cancer, which had metastasized after her initial diagnosis in 2018.
The post featured cherished memories of Anderson, including images of her children: son Ethan and daughters Savannah, Emmarie, and Everleigh, from her relationships with former partner Christian and country artist Coffey Anderson.
“My heart is shattered to share this,” Lindsey expressed. “I promised Criscilla I would walk this journey with her whenever she couldn’t stand on her own two feet, and I pray she knows how fiercely she was loved.” She added that supporting Anderson until the end was “the greatest honor of my life.”

Additionally, Lindsey shared a posthumous message from Anderson, which read, “If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus—peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.”
In her heartfelt message to her children, Anderson expressed gratitude and encouragement. “Ethan, you made me a mom. I’m still beside you, cheering you on. Emmarie, my Jesus-loving dancer — keep dancing through every season. Everleigh, my bright spark — chase your dreams boldly and without fear,” she wrote, reassuring them of her continued presence: “I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours.”
Anderson also acknowledged her close-knit circle of friends who supported her during her illness, saying, “To my family…thank you for loving me so unconditionally. Please take care of one another — my love is still wrapped around you.” She concluded with a note of appreciation to Lindsey: “Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isn’t as far away as it feels. I love you all. Always.”
Her ex-husband, Coffey Anderson, shared an emotional Instagram tribute on the same day, showcasing memories from their life together. “Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet,” he stated. “Heaven gained a star today.” He recalled her words, “if you see a butterfly, that will be me,” and spoke of the family’s heartbreak: “Our hearts are shattered. Our minds are jumbled. Our lives will never be the same.” He concluded, “So, dance your heart out on the beach in heaven,” expressing hope that she was free from pain.

Anderson was well-known as a talented hip-hop dancer, collaborating with artists such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Snoop Dogg. She also served as a choreographer for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and starred alongside Coffey in the Netflix docuseries *Country Ever After*.
After her diagnosis with stage 4 colon cancer in 2018, Anderson openly discussed her battle with the disease. In a February 2022 interview, she reflected on the persistent challenges of cancer and her determination to face them, describing it as a chronic disease that required constant vigilance.
Anderson leaves behind her three children and a legacy of resilience and artistry. She and Coffey married in 2009; he filed for divorce in 2022.
