Connor Storrie Surprises Everyone with a Special Appearance on ‘SNL’ to Introduce Olivia Rodrigo’s New Song

Connor Storrie made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live to introduce Olivia Rodrigo‘s latest song.
The 26-year-old star of Heated Rivalry, who previously hosted the show in late February, stepped in during the May 2 episode to present Rodrigo’s new track “Begged,” which will feature on her upcoming album.
Wearing an all-denim outfit, Storrie was greeted with enthusiastic cheers from the audience as he welcomed Rodrigo back to the stage for a second time that night. In addition to her performance, Rodrigo also took on hosting duties for the episode.
Storrie did not participate in any other sketches during the broadcast, having recently made his SNL debut as a host on February 28.
During her performance of “Begged,” Rodrigo showcased the emotional ballad while seated on a swing. The song will appear on her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which is set for release on June 12.
Earlier in the evening, the singer-songwriter was introduced by Blondie’s Debbie Harry for an energetic rendition of “Drop Dead,” the lead single from You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, released on April 17. This track has already secured its place as Rodrigo’s fourth No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This episode marks Rodrigo’s third overall appearance on SNL and her first time as host. She previously performed as a musical guest in May 2021 with songs from Sour and again in December 2023, promoting Guts.
