Connor Storrie in Talks to Join A24 Comedy ‘Peaked’ Amidst Heated Rivalry
EXCLUSIVE: Actor Connor Storrie, known for his role in the successful series Heated Rivalry on Crave/HBO Max, is in discussions to join the cast of Peaked, a comedy being developed by A24.
Details regarding Storrie’s role remain undisclosed. The film, which is scheduled to begin shooting this month, follows two women from high school as they attempt to relive their pasts during a 10-year reunion.
Alongside Storrie, Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan will star with Emma Mackey. Gordon will also direct the film, which Levitan co-wrote. Additional cast members include Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, and Gabby Windey. A24 is financing and producing the project in collaboration with David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman, and Gordon, while Levitan is set to serve as executive producer.
Storrie currently stars opposite Hudson Williams in Heated Rivalry, an adaptation of Rachel Reid’s novels that gained considerable popularity after its HBO Max release, following its debut on Crave in November 2025. The narrative revolves around two NHL superstars—Canadian Shane Hollander (Williams) and Russian Ilya Rozanov (Storrie)—who navigate a secret, tumultuous relationship that evolves from rivalry into a profound love.
Created, written, and directed by Jacob Tierney, Heated Rivalry has attracted an impressive audience, averaging over 10.6 million viewers in the United States during its first season, becoming HBO Max’s most-watched acquired scripted series. The show has already been renewed for a second season.
Before his notable role in the queer hockey romance, Storrie appeared in smaller productions such as Tiny Beautiful Things and Joker: Folie à Deux. He is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time on February 28, with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest. Storrie is represented by CAA, Atlas Artists, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
