Search Intensifies for Missing 7-Year-Old Boy in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Authorities are urgently searching for King Darius Lozada, a 7-year-old boy who has been missing since Monday evening. The California Highway Patrol issued an alert at the request of the Santa Monica Police Department after Lozada was last seen around 6:50 p.m. near the intersection of Arizona and Stanford streets.
King Darius Lozada is described as 4 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and light blue sweatpants. Investigators believe the child may be with Darius Jackson, identified as his father. Jackson is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds, and has hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, and white shoes.
Authorities have raised concerns for Lozada’s safety. They believe the two may be traveling on foot or using a black electric scooter. An Endangered Missing Advisory is in effect across California, urging the public to report any sightings of the boy or his father.
As of now, details regarding the circumstances leading to their disappearance remain unclear. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of King Darius Lozada or Darius Jackson is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
