Coach Snoop Enjoys His Time at the Olympics
After captivating audiences with his vibrant appearances at the 2024 Paris Games, Snoop Dogg has taken on a new role as the honorary coach for Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. This position not only highlights his involvement in the sports community but also showcases a fresh wardrobe that rivals the picturesque alpine scenery.
Throughout the Games, Snoop has been seen in a variety of eye-catching outfits, including a luxurious white fluffy coat paired with a striking red hat and gloves while attending the women’s downhill race. He was also noted for wearing a Team USA zip-up jacket adorned with images of the athletes during a visit to the curling mixed doubles event.
Wandering the frosty streets of Cortina, Snoop effortlessly blends style and swagger, donning a houndstooth coat and furry hat, complete with a snowflake medal around his neck. This striking look captures the essence of his persona, as he embraces the vibrant atmosphere of the Olympic festivities.

This appointment marks the first time Team USA has had an honorary coach, a volunteer role in which Snoop Dogg contributes “his signature humor and heart to help motivate Team USA athletes,” as stated by the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee.
A longtime sports enthusiast, Snoop’s involvement with athletics has taken many forms. He recently became co-owner and investor in the Welsh football club, Swansea City. Additionally, he played the role of torchbearer at both the 2024 Paris Games and the current Winter Olympics. Alongside these activities, he is reprising his role as a special correspondent for NBC, bringing his distinctive flair and authentic excitement to the coverage of various events.
“It’s going down in Cortina,” Snoop remarked to NBC while strolling through the lively streets ahead of the opening ceremony. “We got the beautiful people, good food, high fashion. I mean, I’m having a blast.”
