### Cindy Crawford Discusses Evolving Double Date Nights with George Clooney
Cindy Crawford recently shared insights on how her double date nights with George Clooney have transformed over the years, reflecting on the changes since Clooney met his wife, Amal.
Speaking exclusively at the 2026 WWD Style Awards in Santa Monica, California, on January 9, Crawford highlighted the shift in their couples’ dynamic. “When I first met George, he was like the forever bachelor, right?” she remarked.
Crawford, 59, who is married to Rande Gerber—Clooney’s close friend—elaborated on the shift in Clooney’s outlook since marrying Amal. “He was never getting married. And then when he met Amal and realized she was the one, then all of a sudden they’re talking about kids. It’s been fun seeing that… Now he’s fully dad and husband. He’s great,” she added.
George, now 64, and Rande, 63, have been friends for decades, partnering to create Casamigos Tequila, which they sold for $1 billion in 2017 and have continued to promote together.

Crawford’s reflections come in the backdrop of George’s journey with Amal, whom he met in 2013. He described their introduction, orchestrated by a mutual friend, as serendipitous. “I got a call from my agent who said, ‘I met this woman who’s coming to your house who you’re gonna marry.’ The funniest thing was my mom and dad were visiting,” Clooney recalled, emphasizing the instant connection they shared.
The couple married in Italy in September 2014, and George noted that his perspective on life drastically changed upon meeting Amal. “All I know is that it sort of changed everything in terms of what I thought my future — my personal future — was going to be,” he expressed.
They welcomed twins, Alexander and Ella, in June 2017, marking another significant milestone in their lives. George, who once claimed he wasn’t in the market for fatherhood, remarked, “I have to say that, after that, everything made sense,” reflecting the deep impact Amal has had on his life.
