Christopher Meloni Expresses Gratitude to ‘L&O’ Fans as Mariska Hargitay Shows Support for Her Longtime Co-Star
Christopher Meloni expressed his gratitude to fans in an Instagram video last night, reflecting on his nearly two-decade tenure as Detective Elliot Stabler in the Law & Order franchise. His co-star, Mariska Hargitay, who portrayed Detective Olivia Benson alongside him, responded warmly in the comments.
In her comment, Hargitay posted “P4L” accompanied by a heart emoji, referencing the popular Outer Banks meme “Pogues For Life,” which signifies loyalty and enduring friendship.
“I just saw that they announced ‘Organized Crime’ won’t be coming back,” Meloni noted in the video. “I wanted to take this moment to say thank you to the fans who not only helped give the character of Elliot Stabler life and longevity, but for sticking with him and welcoming him back. It was a good ride. I had a great time playing him. You helped give me a career that I never dreamed of, nearly 17 odd years.”
