While it remains unclear which character Messina will portray, sources indicate that he is likely to take on one of the new major roles alongside Carter, a part that has garnered significant interest from various actors. The White Lotus has a reputation for attracting a blend of seasoned and emerging talent. The most recent season, set in Thailand, featured notable actors including Walton Goggins, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Sam Rockwell, Natasha Rothwell, Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and garnered eight acting Emmy nominations.
Messina, recognized for his performances in projects such as Air and The Newsroom, recently completed filming for the World War II film Pressure in collaboration with Working Title and Studiocanal, alongside Andrew Scott and Brendan Fraser. He also appeared in Clint Eastwood’s latest film, Juror #2.
He is represented by CAA and Entertainment 360.
