The Hemsworth family brought glamour to their New Year’s Eve celebration, gathering on a yacht to ring in 2026.

Chris Hemsworth, 42, and his wife Elsa Pataky, 49, celebrated alongside Chris’s brother Liam, 35, and Liam’s fiancée Gabriella Brooks, 29. The festivities occurred amidst the stunning backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a spectacular fireworks display.

Stars Chris and Elsa, along with model Gabriella, shared vibrant photos from the evening on social media. One highlight included a proud moment where Liam displayed a cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia featuring Brooks.

“Happy New Year!!! Hope you have a wonderful 2026!” Pataky wrote in her Instagram post, while Chris and Brooks also extended their New Year’s wishes to followers.

This festive gathering followed closely after Chris and Elsa celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on December 26. The couple, parents to India, 13, and twins Sasha and Tristan, 11, spent the holidays in Fiji, recalling their wedding in December 2010 when they were introduced by Chris’s agent.

In a previous interview, Pataky praised Chris, stating, “He really inspires me. I never met anybody who works so hard.” The couple, who returned to Australia from the U.S. in 2015, take care to stagger their work schedules to prioritize parenting. “We try not to work at the same time,” she explained, adding their commitment to being present for their children.

Liam Hemsworth, known for his role in The Hunger Games, has been linked to Gabriella Brooks since 2019. She announced their engagement on Instagram in September 2025 with a simple image of her diamond ring. During a recent interview, Liam expressed his excitement, sharing that the proposal took place a few months prior. “I’m incredibly excited,” he stated.

He further elaborated on The Tonight Show that he didn’t have an elaborate plan for the proposal, noting he was waiting for the right moment to present the ring.
