Chappell Roan Joins Fortnite in Her Own Unique Style
Days after her stunning appearance at the Grammys, Chappell Roan has been announced as the latest icon in *Fortnite*. On February 3, the pop star revealed that players will soon have the opportunity to embody her vibrant persona in the game’s 13th season.
Roan’s character will feature her signature red hair and dramatic makeup. Players can choose between two distinctive outfits: the “Roan of Arc” ensemble she showcased at the 2024 VMAs or a playful pink leotard paired with a cowboy hat, inspired by her hit song “Pink Pony Club,” which is currently charting on the Billboard Hot 100.
This season of *Fortnite Festival* will include a main stage designed after Roan’s medieval castle theme from her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour, which took place last year. Additionally, the game will feature a variety of Roan-themed instruments and accessories. Players can also enjoy two unique emotes: a dance choreographed by Ryan Heffington for “Pink Pony Club” and a traversal emote titled “Femininomenon,” alongside returning jam tracks such as “Good Luck, Babe!” and “Hot to Go!”
Roan’s fans will be able to play as her starting Thursday, February 5. This announcement marks a significant moment for the artist, who expressed her enthusiasm for the game during a January 2025 interview with BBC Radio 1, where she mentioned her enjoyment of using Ariana Grande’s skin in the game.
“I play on Nintendo Switch, so that’s how serious I take it,” Roan said, humorously adding, “That is what I’m going to use this interview for, is to [ask]: ‘Please give me a dance. Please.’”
The *Fortnite* news follows Roan’s eye-catching appearance at the 2026 Grammys on February 1, where she made headlines in a daring Mugler nipple-ring dress, prompting extensive online discussion. In response to the attention on social media, Roan wrote on Instagram, “Giggling because I don’t even think this is THAT outrageous of an outfit. The look’s actually so awesome and weird. I recommend just exercising your free will it’s really fun and silly.”
