Mrs. Thailand Crowned Mrs. World 2025
On January 29, the Mrs. World pageant crowned its 2025 winner, Mrs. Thailand, Chanita Seedaket Craythorne, during a ceremony held at Westgate Las Vegas. Alongside Craythorne, contestants from the United States and Sri Lanka also made it to the final three.
Craythorne received her crown from the previous titleholder, Tshego Gaelae of South Africa, who made history as the first Black woman to win the Mrs. World title in 2024.
In a statement following her victory, Craythorne expressed pride in representing Thailand, stating, "I have proudly represented Thailand with grace, strength, and purpose—embodying the true spirit of womanhood, motherhood, and leadership." She described her journey as a powerful testament to the resilience and dignity of Thai women dedicated to their families and society.
"Thailand stands proud as her name is etched on the Mrs. World stage, marking another meaningful chapter in the nation’s pageant history," the statement continued.
Tshego Gaelae, last year’s winner, celebrated her title for bringing representation and empowerment to the pageant community. Gaelae’s triumph also spotlighted the networking opportunities and personal growth she experienced during her reign.
Reflecting on her experience and the impact on her family, Gaelae noted, "I noticed a shift in how my son approaches people, how he’s more willing to be open to have a conversation, even with a complete stranger."
The Mrs. World pageant continues to evolve, championing values of empowerment and representation through its contestants and winners.
