Caitlin Reilly Joins Rachel Bloom and Rory Scovel in ABC’s Comedy Pilot ‘Do You Want Kids?’
Caitlin Reilly, known for her roles in Hacks and I Love LA, has been cast as a series regular in ABC’s upcoming comedy pilot Do You Want Kids? alongside Rachel Bloom and Rory Scovel.
Co-created and executive produced by Bloom and writer-producer Dan Gregor, this single-camera series from 20th Television centers on a married couple, Rosie (played by Bloom) and Alex Vasilescu (Scovel). The show explores two divergent realities based on their decision about having children, showcasing the profound impact of that choice on their lives.
Reilly will portray Michelle, Alex’s well-organized sister, who is on the verge of embarking on a journey of self-discovery in her later years.
Additionally, Pete Gardner has been added to the cast, having replaced Daniel Stern in a recent recasting announcement.
The pilot is set to be directed by Trent O’Donnell and co-written by Bloom and Gregor. Executive producers include Bloom, Gregor, Steven Levitan, and Danielle Stokdyk of Levitan Productions, along with Jeff Morton.
Reilly’s recent work includes appearances in HBO’s Hacks, I Love LA, FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives, and Disney’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. She also starred in the indie film Cora Bora. With her comedic content, Reilly has amassed an impressive following of over 4 million across social media platforms, garnering over 1 billion views. She is represented by Paradigm, Haven Entertainment, and Granderson Des Rochers.
