Burglary Suspect Involved in Crash with Metro Bus in Westlake District
Multiple Injuries Reported in Caught-Burglar Incident in Westlake District
Several individuals sustained minor injuries following a chaotic incident in the Westlake District of Los Angeles on Friday. A suspected burglar allegedly fled from a nearby crime scene, ultimately crashing into a Metro bus and at least one other vehicle.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the burglary occurred near the intersection of Miramar Street and West 3rd Street. As officers pursued the suspect, the individual crashed into the Metro bus and another car on 6th Street, close to Bixel Street.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that six people were injured in the incident, though further details about the nature of their injuries were not immediately available.
Uncertainties remain regarding whether the police were actively pursuing the suspect at the time of the crash. At least one individual has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
