Burbank Police Arrest Man for Breaking Glass Door at Smart and Final
Man Arrested for Alleged Vandalism at Burbank Grocery Store
A 50-year-old man was arrested on Sunday morning on charges of felony vandalism after he reportedly shattered a glass door at a Smart and Final store in Burbank. According to Burbank police, the incident occurred at the store located in the 3700 block of West Burbank Boulevard.
Police were called to the scene following reports of vandalism. Store management told officers that the suspect became frustrated when the door failed to open, prompting him to kick it. After shattering the glass, he fled the premises.
Officers were able to locate the suspect nearby, where he was identified by a store employee. The man, identified as Phillip Lehman, was taken into custody and is currently facing suspicion of felony vandalism. Formal charges are expected to be reviewed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
As of now, attempts to reach out to Smart and Final for a comment have not received a response.
