Trending on Billboard
BTS is set to return to the stage, announcing on January 13 that the acclaimed K-pop group will embark on a world tour in 2026-2027.
The tour will commence on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, with a subsequent stop in Tokyo. The United States will welcome the group in late April, beginning with performances on April 25-26 in Tampa, Florida, and concluding their North American schedule with four shows in Los Angeles in September.
According to the press release, BTS’s global trek will cover 34 regions and feature a total of 79 concerts. In addition to South Korea, Japan, and North America, the group will perform in Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Brazil, Malaysia, and more. The tour’s 2027 lineup includes shows in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
This announcement follows BTS’s earlier news on January 4 regarding their forthcoming fifth album, set to release on March 20. The album will feature 14 tracks and is described as “driven by each member’s honest introspection,” with individual perspectives contributing to its musical direction.
Before revealing highlights of the new album and tour, Jung Kook hinted at the group’s return following a hiatus for military service and solo projects. He remarked to Elle Korea in December, “I think this spring will be more important than ever. So I sincerely hope you all have a safe and enjoyable spring.”
