Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, are seeking to ensure that video footage from their wedding, which includes his mother Victoria Beckham, remains private. A source stated that the couple would be distressed if this footage—showing Victoria dancing with her son—was ever made public.
Following an Instagram post from Brooklyn, in which he detailed his family struggles, a source revealed that both he and Nicola would be embarrassed if any of the dance footage got out. “Brooklyn and Nicola are the only ones who have access to video,” the source explained.
They added, “It’s an extremely embarrassing moment for them, and seeing this circulate online would be detrimental to Brooklyn’s mental health. It’s one of the most humiliating moments of his life, and he doesn’t want it to be visible to the public.”

Representatives did not respond to requests for comment from Brooklyn, Nicola, Victoria, and David Beckham. Brooklyn and Nicola were married in April 2022 in a ceremony attended by nearly 600 guests at Peltz’s family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Among the guests were Victoria Beckham, her husband David Beckham, and their three other children: Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Notable attendees also included Mel C, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Gordon Ramsay, and Eva Longoria, with entertainment provided by Marc Anthony.
In his social media post on January 19, Brooklyn expressed, “My mum was waiting to dance with me … She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.” He mentioned feeling marginalized by his family, who purportedly told him that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.”
Previously, reports indicated that Victoria left Nicola “in tears” after overshadowing her first dance with Brooklyn during their wedding, causing tensions to escalate. A source elucidated that before the couple’s first dance, Marc Anthony invited Brooklyn onto the stage and introduced Victoria as “the most beautiful woman in the room,” which allegedly overwhelmed Nicola.

Additionally, it has been reported that guests reacted with shock when Victoria began dancing with Brooklyn, which some deemed “not appropriate.” Witnesses noted that the moment contributed to Nicola’s emotional departure from the event. Brooklyn’s post also mentioned a long-standing pattern of family disrespect towards Nicola, stating, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
Rumors about attempts from David and Victoria Beckham to mend the family rift have surfaced, with sources indicating they have reached out to Brooklyn and Nicola. “David loves his kids. They are his everything,” a source commented.
A representative for David and Victoria Beckham did not provide comments regarding the ongoing family matters.
