Brittany Mahomes opened up about motherhood in a recent social media post. On February 4, the Kansas City Current co-founder shared a video featuring her 12-month-old daughter, Golden, who was being carried in a slightly sad state as she was “teething.”
In the video, Golden rested her head against her mother’s chest while being held in a leopard-print baby carrier. “Teething baby calls for snuggles and celery,” Brittany captioned the heartwarming shot.
Despite feeling under the weather during this particular moment, Golden recently celebrated a happier occasion: her first birthday. Last month, her family—including her parents and siblings—came together to mark the milestone with joy and laughter.

On January 12, Brittany celebrated this milestone with a touching montage video shared on Instagram. In the video, a cheerful Golden is seen enjoying her special day, wearing orange flower sunglasses and a tiny crown that reads “One.”
The birthday festivities also featured Golden’s siblings, Sterling and Bronze, enjoying cotton candy and playing on various attractions, including a slide and a bouncy castle.
Amid the flower-themed party, Golden relished a pink iced cake adorned with strawberries, and was often seen playing with her father.
Brittany shared her happiness in a caption: “Celebrated our Golden girl with the best crew,” along with a heartfelt tribute, “My baby is ONE,” complete with a teary-eyed emoji. “This baby girl is pure joy.”
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes is focusing on his recovery at home after recently undergoing surgery for a torn ACL, sustained during a December 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Just a day after the injury, Patrick underwent surgery to repair his ACL, and sources indicate that he may also require a repair for a torn LCL.
Despite the challenges, Brittany noted last year that she and her husband were not planning to expand their family further for the time being. “Nope,” she affirmed during a podcast appearance, expressing contentment with their current family size of five: “We’re done for a while. Three is all I need.”
