Britney Spears welcomed the new year with a spirited dance on January 4, 2023. In an Instagram video, the 44-year-old pop star showcased her moves to Christina Aguilera’s track “I Am.”
In the video, Spears donned a sheer dress over an animal print bra and panties, twirling around her living room. During her performance, she experienced a nip-slip, which she covered with a pink flower emoji.
In the caption, Spears humorously noted in French, “Found something in my luggage… well, you know… I never posted this! Well, whatever, I decided to reconsider. omg I had completely forgot …… darn it.”
Later that day, the Grammy Award-winning artist shared two additional dancing clips: one featuring her in a light pink dress and another displaying her moves to classical music.

Spears, known for her joyful dance posts, has previously shared clips featuring songs from her ex, Justin Timberlake, including his 2003 hit “Señorita,” as well as tracks by Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. In a 2021 Instagram post, she addressed critics of her dancing, expressing her carefree attitude.
Spears’ recent use of Aguilera’s song from the 2010 album *Bionic* is particularly notable given the complex history between the two artists. Both rose to fame in the late 1990s on Disney’s *Mickey Mouse Club,* and although they have faced rivalries fueled by fans, they have mostly supported each other through the years.
Since the termination of Spears’ conservatorship in 2021, Aguilera has publicly supported her, both in media appearances and through social media. Spears has expressed inspiration from Aguilera, calling her “a beautiful woman of power.”
