Brentwood Community on Alert After Home Invasion and Police Chase
Home Invasion Robbery in Brentwood Linked to Delivery Driver Impersonation
A home invasion robbery occurred in Brentwood on Wednesday afternoon when an individual impersonating a delivery driver requested water from the homeowner, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. at a residence located on Walther Way. Authorities have not disclosed the specifics of what was taken during the robbery, nor have they reported any injuries.
After the robbery, officers observed a vehicle that matched the description of one associated with the crime. A pursuit ensued, culminating in a crash. The two occupants fled the scene on foot in the vicinity of Kenter Avenue and Bonhill Road.
Police apprehended one suspect, while the other remains at large. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to locate the outstanding suspect.
