Brawl Breaks Out at Indiana Jones Ride in Disneyland Over Line-Cutting Dispute
Brawl Erupts at Disneyland During Peak Holiday Week
ANAHEIM, Calif. – A visit to Disneyland, often dubbed the "Happiest Place on Earth," turned chaotic on December 30 when a fight broke out at the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction. The altercation occurred amid a busy holiday crowd, as reported by the Anaheim Police Department.
According to authorities, the incident began when one group of guests attempted to cut the line for the popular ride. Another group intervened, which escalated into a heated exchange and ultimately a physical confrontation.
One individual involved in the scuffle sustained minor injuries and received treatment from Disney’s on-site first aid personnel. Police confirmed the individual was able to continue enjoying their day at the park.
The primary suspect involved in the incident fled the scene before park security or responding officers could apprehend them. At this time, authorities have not provided a description of the suspect.
It remains unclear whether Disney will pursue permanent bans for those involved in the incident, a response that is common after violations of the park’s "Code of Conduct."
In late 2022, Disneyland introduced a "Courtesy" section to its park rules to address a rise in guest altercations, emphasizing the importance of avoiding "unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or offensive behavior," including cutting in line.
Disney maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Guests engaged in physical confrontations face immediate ejection from the park and may receive a lifetime ban through a "Trespass Warning." Enhanced security measures, including facial recognition technology, are employed to ensure compliance with these policies.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anaheim police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
