Bradley Cooper’s latest film, Is This Thing On?, is set to be released for home viewing soon.
The film, featuring Will Arnett and Laura Dern, will be available on digital platforms on Tuesday, February 10, followed by Blu-ray and DVD releases on March 17.
Set against the backdrop of New York City’s stand-up comedy scene, Is This Thing On? marks Cooper’s latest directorial effort, following his acclaimed works, A Star Is Born (2018) and Maestro (2023).
The film’s synopsis reveals a poignant storyline: As Alex (Arnett) confronts the challenges of middle age and impending divorce, he seeks new meaning within the comedy scene. Meanwhile, Tess (Dern) grapples with the sacrifices she has made for their family. Together, they navigate the complexities of co-parenting, personal identity, and the possibility of love reinvented.

The film also features an ensemble cast that includes Cooper, Andra Day, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Scott Icenogle, and Peyton Manning.
During the film’s premiere at the New York Film Festival in October 2025, Cooper expressed admiration for Arnett’s performance, highlighting its emotional depth.
“Sometimes you meet these people and they go out of your life, but we stayed in each other’s lives for decades and now he’s somebody who I can consider one of my closest friends,” Cooper remarked, reflecting on their long-standing friendship. He emphasized that Arnett’s role allowed him to showcase a deeper emotional range than ever before.
“To be able to make art together with someone you trust and to see them show themselves — there are so many moments in this movie where you will see him baring his soul through the character of Alex,” Cooper added.
