HBO’s The White Lotus Season 4 Cast Expands
Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella, and Pekka Strang have joined the cast of HBO’s acclaimed series, The White Lotus, for its upcoming fourth season. Details about their specific roles remain undisclosed.
The new season, created by Mike White, will center on a fresh set of guests and employees at a White Lotus hotel, capturing their experiences over a week during the Cannes Film Festival. Filming is currently taking place in France.
David Bernad, executive producer, commented on the thematic direction for Season 4, saying, “Early on, Mike talked about wanting to do Season 4 as the life of an artist – the loneliness and the pain.” He elaborated that the setting at the Cannes Film Festival allows for exploration of fame and the complexities of relationships. "What are the things that satisfy us? Is it the love of an intimate partner, the love of strangers? What do we prioritize in people?” he posed.
The ensemble cast for Season 4 also includes Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern, and a host of other talents such as Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, and Ari Graynor.
White continues to serve as the creator, writer, and executive producer, with Bernad and Mark Kamine also taking on executive producer roles.
Kingsley is represented by CAA, Independent Talent Group, and Stone, Genow, Smelkinson; Minghella is with CAA and Anonymous Content; while Strang is represented by Actors in Scandinavia and Artist International Group.
