LOS ANGELES – Residents of a San Fernando Valley neighborhood are on alert following the sighting of a bear on Monday, May 4.

Aerial footage from SkyFOX revealed the bear wandering through yards and climbing fences in the Pacoima area, specifically along the 12300 block of Terra Bella Street, near Hansen Dam. Observers noted the animal eating outdoor pet food left in yards.

Officials from wildlife services are on-site, with a park ranger actively monitoring the situation. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported during the bear’s excursion.
