Bad Bunny Reflects on His Future and Early Memories on The Late Show
Bad Bunny recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he participated in a round of "The Colbert Questionert," offering insights into his life and thoughts about the future.
During the segment, which aired on January 28, the Puerto Rican artist addressed a variety of personal questions, culminating in one that asked him to summarize his future in five words. "Happy, retired, eating, tripletas (a Puerto Rican sandwich), living in Puerto Rico," the 31-year-old singer responded.
The conversation also touched on Bad Bunny’s earliest memory, which stemmed from a childhood crush at the age of four. He described this nostalgia: "I remember I used to watch a picture of a girl. It was in a book. My mom had a book, like a picture book. There was a picture of a girl and she was my crush." When further questioned about his recollection, he humorously noted he did not know her name and admitted, "I used to cry for that."
In addition, Bad Bunny discussed his preferences regarding pets, confirming he is a "dog" person. He answered other light-hearted questions, including those about his favorite and least favorite smells and the best sandwich.
As he continues to make waves in the music industry, Bad Bunny is up for six nominations at the upcoming 2026 Grammy Awards, set to take place on February 1 in Los Angeles. This year marks a historic moment for the artist, as he is the first Spanish-language performer to be nominated in three major categories.
Bad Bunny’s appearance on The Late Show leads up to his upcoming performance at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. A trailer for his highly anticipated show was released earlier, showcasing him dancing with a diverse group of individuals to his song "BAILE INoLVIDABLE."
In a statement about the halftime show, he expressed a deeper sentiment: "What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history."
The Super Bowl Halftime Show, presented by the NFL and Roc Nation, will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8 and will be broadcast live on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock.
In addition to his television appearance, Bad Bunny is featured in an upcoming special edition of People magazine, highlighting his remarkable journey from his early beginnings to headlining significant shows. The issue will hit newsstands on January 30.
